Dr Gunay Verdiyeva Cryer speaks about her experience in 3D printing within the medical field

Dr Gunay Verdiyeva is a junior orthopaedic doctor from York Hospital.
She has completed her core training in surgery in Northern Ireland and worked in a range of branches of surgery. She has completed her MSc in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine and her PhD was in reconstruction of tendons with 3D printing. She has a special interest in 3D printing of surgical and orthopaedic implants and exploration of 3D printed models for potential tissue engineering applications.
